Bin installed on main road

July 4, 2018 | Posted in Fingal County Council, General

New bin on Riverwood RoadIn the FCC Castleknock/Mulhuddart Area Committee January meeting the ongoing litter problem at Riverwood Way was discussed. They committed to install a bin at the kissing gates on the opposite end of the open space area. Last week the bin was installed.

FCC have warned that, if the bin is abused (e.g. illegal dumping of domestic rubbish into it), it will be removed.

Aside: As you leave Carpenterstown shopping centre and head towards Riverwood, this new bin is the first bin that you will pass.

On this note, residents may wish to make a submission on the Fingal County Council Litter Management Plan 2019-2021. Submissions can be made until Tuesday 31 July 2018.
