At the end of September Frank and Mark from the committee were joined by a hard working resident from Riverwood Glebe to tackle the extensive weeds that had taken over the rose bushes in the patch on Riverwood Chase at the path to Riverwood Glebe.
As it was 3 years prior, the weeds were very tall, dwarfing the rose bushes. The three spent over two hours weeding and filled 11 plastic bags with weeds.
The before and after photos are staggering.
The committee hopes that some residents from Riverwood Court will step up and volunteer to weed the rose bed at the entrance to Riverwood Court. The weeds have taken over the rose bushes there too.
