Fingal County Council are building a new basketball court on the large open space area at Sycamore Avenue, Laurel Lodge. It is beside the two tennis courts there and will have the same layout as the basketball court in Riverwood (two hoops in the centre of the court).
When the Riverwood basketball court is use visitors can go to this new court. This is similar to when both Riverwood tennis courts are in use – people can go to the courts at Sycamore Avenue. The courts there are rarely as busy as the Riverwood pair.
