You may have noticed that the footpaths at road junctions have been dug up and fenced off. Fingal County Council is rebuilding the footpaths to lessen the gradient and smooth out the bump between the road and footpath. This is primarily to make them easier for wheelchair users to move between the road and footpath. This will also benefit those with buggies.
