As mentioned last month the Riverwood Residents Association committee has set up a free text alert system for Riverwood. Magnets, with the text alert number, have been designed and the committee and a few volunteers have begun to distribute these Riverwood Aware magnets.
When we call to your door we will explain the system and ask you to text your name/address to the text alert number (087-760-4369). Your address is requested to allow for future texts to be sent to specific roads if required and also to know where a report is coming from.
The volunteer won’t ask you for your name or number!
The volunteers will avoid calling around in the dark, but as most of them work full time and the days are getting shorter, this may not be possible.
