The Clean-Up of the estate will take place on Saturday 9th May between 12:00 and 15:00. We would ask residents to pick up any litter in their area and to weed the areas between the curb and the road outside their house. There will be a central collection point of all rubbish at the junction between Riverwood Copse and Chase. Fingal County Council will collect all the rubbish after the clean-up from this point.
Children are more than welcome and all that’s needed is a brush, spade and some of your time.
LCC Students Helping Out
Furthermore, this year we are getting help from students of Luttrellstown Community College. The school is working to earn its first Green Flag (Litter & Waste) and have offered to help out with our Clean Up!!
The students will be cleaning up the main road (between Riverwood Dene roundabout and the Riverwood pillars) on Friday afternoon (8 May), around 2pm. If you see them please thank them. We plan to take some photos and post them here to acknowledge their work and thank them for it.
