The committee met Jack Chambers, Fianna Fail local election candidate, on Monday evening. We briefed him on our long and active history and raised our concerns about the lack of Garda presence and response, access to school places for Riverwood children, lack of response of councillors to emails, maintenance issues with the open space area and the upcoming postcodes.
Jack said that, if elected, he plans to be a more proactive councillor and will help residents get things done.
Jack will write to Superintendent Quirke at Blanchardstown Garda and will ask a Fianna Fail spokesperson about the postcodes.
The committee intends to meet the other candidates in the coming weeks.
