In only a few months the planting by Fingal County Council at Riverwood Glebe has really filled out. Compare the photos to that taken in June, shortly after they were planted.
The plants chosen are a favourite of bees and butterflies. When the photos were taken there was 8 Red Admiral butterflies on one plant. It’s always a pleasure to stand and look at the bees and butterflies flying between the plants.
A few tall weeds had grown up amongst the plants so we removed them (and their roots).
