Garda Station Open Day – Saturday 14 September

Blanchardstown Garda Station Open Day

Gardaí at Blanchardstown Garda Station would like to invite members of the public to attend an open day On Saturday 14th September 2013. The Community Family Open Day will run from 1.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

The Garda Band will be performing a live concert for the occasion along with displays from Local Garda and National Units. The Garda Mounted Unit will be there and visitors will also be able to learn about some of the other specialist Garda units including the Garda Dog Unit and Motorcycle Unit.

Visitors will also be able to tour the station and get advice from crime prevention officers and community Gardaí.

Hosted by Superintendent Quirke who is in charge of Blanchardstown Garda District, the day is aimed at strengthening relationships between local Gardaí and the local community.
