Unauthorised clothing bin at Riverwood Dene roundabout

March 11, 2011 | Posted in General

On Thursday March 10 an unauthorised clothing bin was deposited at the roundabout at the entrance to Riverwood Dene.

As this is for a fake charity, we repeat our appeal not to support them. This applies to this clothing bin too.

We have reported the bin to Fingal County Council and hope that they will move it soon.

With the recent shooting in Stepaside linked to the collection of used clothing (and the arrest of a man in West Dublin), we ask residents not to support these people. They are depriving legitimate charities of a source of revenue.

There are multiple alternate locations to deposit used clothing:

  • St Vincent de Paul shop in Blanchardstown
  • Coolmine Recycling Centre
  • Clothing bin in Superquinn, Blanchardstown
